New FET actions launched

WeNet is part of the European Commission’s Future & Emerging Technologies (FET) programme, which invests in transformative frontier research and innovation with a high potential impact on technology, to benefit our economy and society.

In March, FET announced the launch of three new coordination and support actions (CSAs). These new CSAs will support the early-stages of science and technology research and innovation around new ideas towards radically new future technologies.

The new FET projects are:

  • BRIEFING to bring together innovative and groundbreaking FET research results with different business players to promote the facilitation from idea to product.
  • FETFX to support all FET projects in their communication and outreach activities to increase their influence and impact among society, policy makers and research and innovation communities.
  • PREFET utilising evidence-based detection of emerging technology trends with high-impact potential, to funnel them down to successful FET proposals.
