Do not miss WeNet’s poster at AIES

The AAAI/ACM conference on Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Society (AIES) is an important yearly event that brings together Computer Science, Law and Policy, the Social Sciences, and Philosophy talented researchers to encourage the possibilities for interdisciplinary connections and challenges on AI related topics. 

The fourth edition of this conference will take place on 19-21 May 2021 as a fully virtual event. The programme of the conference will include invited talks, peer-reviewed paper presentations peer-reviewed poster presentations and panels.

WeNet will be present in the poster session on 19 May with “The Theory, Practice, and Ethical Challenges of Designing a Diversity-Aware Platform for Social Relations”, describing a design solution that centers the well-being of users. The poster presents the paradigm that was developed in WeNet including theory, practice, and ethical challenges of designing a diversity-aware platform for social relations. 

Most of the WeNet partners were involved in the preparation of this work under the coordination of the Ethical researchers for Tübingen University.
